swimmingtidesoftrouble:

"A perfect water polo athlete can be best described as having the over-arm accuracy of a baseball pitcher, the vertical of a volleyball player, the toughness of a hockey player, the endurance of a cross-country runner, and the strategy of a chess player. Of course, to find a player of this ability is difficult."

Water Polo

kylekenehanphoto:

Back to School and back to work shooting for Mesa College’s Student run newspaper, The Mesa Press. I started the semester off shooting Men’s Soccer Practice, and these images of a Water Polo match on Wednesday. Like any sport, Water polo can be a very exciting, especially if you have a small idea of how to play. I’m uber stoked to be covering the matches with camera in hand. These images probably won’t make publication, wanted to share anyways.

subliminal-substance:

See this? This is water polo. One of the most misunderstood and underrated sports of all time. You have to have strength, speed, and endurance to just make it through practice but to love the game and have passion for it what makes it the greatest sport and the place I learn most of my life lessons from. Respect.
My friend was taking pictures for her photography class and I’m 16
